Spiritual Connection
Volunteer chaplains and religious leaders participate in this program providing the spiritual connection. They offer words of encouragement, helpful ideas in centering prayer and how to best focus spiritual concepts throughout the healing process. Utilizing the power of faith, the spiritual connection helps to heal your inner self.
Exercise
Local physical trainers and exercise professionals offer classes in simple exercise techniques for the cancer survivor. Various programs are the focus of this time of physical healing. Upon physician approval, anyone can benefit from this helpful exercise information that is fun for the whole family.
It’s All About the Arts
Art is just one more innovative way to help offer hope and healing to one dealing with cancer. Using artistry supplies and painting techniques, a cancer patient can ease his or her troubles. Art is one form of expression that we could all use every now and again. Whether painting a joyous holiday scene or exerting frustration about a valley of pain, art can help voice every concern in ways one never knew.
Everyone Needs Some Support
At times outward activities and expressions do not reflect what’s really happening inside. Hear from cancer survivors and medical professionals who can help you through the healing process. Sometimes just sitting and thinking about the problems can be worse than the problems themselves. Take time to listen and speak out. Everyone needs some support once in a while.
